So, ~egorger and I lost Round 1 of the Ebon Spire.

This for me is a mixed bag. On the one hand, I was excited for this tournament and I had BIG plans for what Calvin was going to do in it. There are a lot of artists and characters that I had hoped to get a chance to go up against.

On the other hand, I couldn't have lost to anyone better than ~ryclaude, really. When auditions were wrapping up, I was reading through them; I saw Ewan and I immediately pegged him to be one of the favorites in the whole contest. When I found out I was going to be facing the guy, I felt equal parts bummed and excited. Bummed because I knew that if I was going to go on I'd have to knock one of the better characters (and artists) out of the contest, excited because I was really looking forward to my chance at writing and drawing Ewan.

I did my best with this. I really did. I am very proud of what ~egorger and I were able to produce, and I don't regret a second of it. I learned a ton; I'll be using what I've learned for something new down the road.

Just you wait and see.

Hey bro, I got one of these.... Things. These devious things. So, I can, you know. Be devious.
But sir. You've always *been* devious.

I've just never had the heart to tell you.

But... if I deviate from being devious, wouldn't I no longer be a deviant? This is makin my head spin, I think I gotta sit down.
:iconohohoplz: I've got something quite neat in the works... :iconohseriousplz:

Well I'm jacked up about it too, so I think we're in good shape.

YO. I got those pages and the revised script. I haven't actually looked at the script again, but everything else looks good and I'm sure I won't have any complaints with what I haven't read.
